Melanoma Nomogram: Sentinel Node Metastasis

This tool can be used to predict the probability that a patient’s primary cutaneous melanoma will metastasize, or spread, to the sentinel lymph node (the first lymph node to which cancer cells are likely to spread from the primary tumor). It is designed to help guide patients and physicians when making treatment decisions.

Probability of Positive Sentinel Node

This tool predicts the probability that patients with primary cutaneous melanoma will have their cancer spread to the sentinel lymph node (the first lymph node to which cancer cells are likely to spread from the primary tumor). While the melanoma may have been previously biopsied or surgically removed, to use this tool, sentinel node biopsy cannot have been performed previously.
